I've been scratching my own itch with this PR, so I'm obviously a little bit impatient to see it in the wild. 😁 Would you mind creating a release with the typings or are there any objections against that? |

The PR adds comprehensive TypeScript declarations to this package. I decided to go for a pull request first (before publishing to DefinitelyTyped) as this approach makes it easier to keep the typings in sync with the source.
