I received a request via email from an employee of WMCZ, copying it here with his permission:
We, in Czech chapter, would have one big plea: It would be great to have an option of creating something like "campaigns" in the app. To be more specific: We run a photographic programme which is designed only for territory of the Czech Republic and we would need to "tell the app" to automatically add a specific template to all the pictures taken in this programme (you can see this template for example by this picture https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:1._m%C3%A1je_(Albrechtice_nad_Orlic%C3%AD)_02.jpg . The template serves for proper categorization and other functions). That would be possible thanks to a "campaign" feature - photographers with interest in this programme would just actively select this campaign.
Because of this missing feature now our photographers cannot use Wikimedia Commons app for this programme at all (it is not small, it generates almost 20K of new pictures every year) and I am sure that if this was possible - if they could use app and mobile phones - it would attract many more new photographers to make pictures for Commons!
I think this could be doable once we get the WLM integration up, we would just need to make the implementation more generic so that people can create their own, maybe via submitting PRs to our campaigns repository?
