OS notification/time bar barely visible in some activities

1. Choose a picture for upload
2. Tap Edit image
3. The top bar is light-on-light, I cannot read the time for instance.

Another activity:

1. Open the custom picker
2. Choose a folder
3. Long-press an image to enter full-screen
4. The top bar is black-on-black, nothing is readable, the only visible part is the green of the battery level.
