Is there an option to truncate the ast generated?

I am having this selector - ".example:hover { } ". I just want to get the part before the pseudo-class, i. e. ".example".

Can anyone help me please?

When you say "I just want to get the part", do you mean you want the selector as a string without pseudo classes, or are you looking to filter some of the AST nodes?

From all the selectors having a pseudo-class I want to do this -> this selector ".classSelector:hover+.secondSelector" should be truncated as ".classSelector". Not getting selectors without a pseudo-class.
