If autoclear option is false - maskedinput keeps partially entered data in safe.

It is simmilar to #70 but works for focus event too.

+1 for this as well.

We need to at least give the user a chance to correct their mistake before blowing away what they entered.

You can always use "?" in front of your pattern to make it optional.

Cleaning up some old pull requests. Thank you for taking the time to submit this. This functionality eventually got merged in with #183.
