I searched in a different project what the update to prettier 4.0 (alpha) entails. I basically haven't found anything, so I'm unsure if we want to do this. I don't really want to deviate from what pre-commit autoupdate does either, so I'm torn right now.

I think we're fine switching to it. We have to review the Javascript it renders and if we determine we don't like it, we can revert in the future.
