Migrated to the current jQuery release (1.7.1) in order to to avoid the annoying & slightly confusing "event.layer(X|Y)" deprecation warnings.
This was fixed in jquery/jquery#554.
It's about time debug toolbar moved beyond jQuery 1.4.1 anyway. No jQuery related issues were noted after doing this.
