No way to input text on popups form with Android 2.3.7

Hi,

No way to input text on popups form. Phone virtual keyboard open itself fine, but as soon as I input the first letter it desappear.

I can reproduce it with the following URL:

Thanks for reporting the issue.

I just tested the 1.3.1 demos popup page on Android 2.3.6 / LG L3. When I open the "form popup" and tap on the text input the keyboard pops up, then the popup disappears for a moment, the page scrolls to the top, and then popup is shown again. Does the page scroll to top in your case as well or does the popup just disappear and that's it?

@uGoMobi From the form popup demo the page scroll to the top and the keyboard disappear. From the panel demo, the keyboard is not displayed at all.

I have the same problem on my LG-P500 running Android 2.3.3.

I used the jsbin page that @erviem99 created and tried to reproduce with the latest jQM and wasn't able to. I created a youtube video here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ymjXVbp3WAU

I tested on an Android 2.3.7 emulator. Maybe this was fixed with the latest version of jQM. Can anyone else verify that this is still an issue?

Since it seems this is fixed in latest im going to close this. If any one faces this issue still with latest code please comment and we will re open.

I tested my link above (it's now using jQuery Mobile 1.5.0-pre) from my old Android phone and unfortunately the issue has still not been fixed.

What version of android is it running so we can test? I tested on a 2.3.7 emulator.

The same as last time. LG-P500 running Android 2.3.3.

Unfortunately I can't get an emulator that is that old of a version of android. Guess 2.3.3 behaves differently than 2.3.7.
