Swipe left panel - moved

If you open the left side panel to close slowly, it does not close on the move.
On the right panel, all right.

Thanks for reporting the issue. On what OS / browser / device did you test? Do you also see the issue when you test with latest code (http://view.jquerymobile.com/master/demos/panel-swipe-open/)? What exactly do you mean by "on the move"?

Tested in the Android 4.1.2 (standard browser and Mozilla) and the assembly PhoneGap.
If quick swipe, there is a closure panel. However, if slow swipe, is what is shown in the screenshot.

i have seen something like this on ios also what is happening is that there is a blank area to the right of the page that your are scrolling to if you swipe fast you trigger swipe and close the panel but swipe is a timed event so if you do it slow this does not happen and you scroll the page horizontally instead

On the right panel of this does not happen and it works well.

@botaniQQQ that's because the right panel is a push panel, whereas the left panel is a reveal panel. This means that the right panel does not cause the width of the document to increase, whereas the left panel does. This is why you sometimes end up panning the document instead of swiping.

It doesn't matter whether the panel is displayed as push or reveal, the left panel still exhibits the behavior shown above. I've observed the problem on iOS 6.1 and 7.0 Safari. Please see http://jsbin.com/ofuhaw/601 for details.
