I had the same thought but you might add simple parsing of the manifest files so the dependency stays in one place. You can also take a look at my Vagrant branch if you want to just build a VM for it with php and apache2.

I have moved the include into a separate include file, Hopefully someone will merge this in and update the php files

Thanks but I think we're going to pass on adding more build languages to the official repo at this time. Eventually, we'll probably drop our PHP requirement as well.
