Hello,
i'd like to add to the documentation page about ID selector
an information that despite there should be only one such id in the page source,
selector will return you an array with one element.
Overall, documentation about id selector makes strong impression
that it will return a single element and that is not correct.

My instinct is that since the docs mention 'elements' when discussing selectors, it is implied across the board that all selector methods return a jQuery object containing the element or elements selected. Not sure we should confuse people by adding any language about this, since there's really no way to have a 'single' element that's not in the element array.
