autofocus search input

when a user enters the api.jquery.com page he usually tries to find information about a certain method.

therefore it would be great if the search field already has the focus so one can start typing immediately.

You could use html5 autofocus attribute for this.

I already tried to find the right file within this repository, but apparently there are not layout files contained.. maybe they are part of another repos..?

@scottgonzalez would it make sense to add an accesskey, lets say 's', on the search-field ?

That seems reasonable. What happens if there are multiple search fields on the page though?

No, but http://plugins.jquery.com/ has two and every site uses the same code for search inputs.

But in plugins case, it doesn't matter that much right? It seems like both search fields search the same thing.

Yes, they will search the same thing. That will always be the case for the code in question.

The question is what happens when you assign the same access key to two fields, and is it valid?
