The changes seem sane. If we're going to support this functionality should we document it in http://api.jqueryui.com/resizable/#events? |

Yeah, it's supposed to be part of the public API. Looks like we're also missing the equivalent for draggable. I just created jquery/api.jqueryui.com#220 and jquery/api.jqueryui.com#221 to track those. |
