Please respect default settings of browsers' users and use 100% for font-size for the website. You currently set it at 15px. That's a bad approach. Use 100% for the body and other percentages for other places. Don't use px.

That article is from 2008, browsers got a lot better since then regarding zoom. The approach he recommends, using body { font-size: 62.5% } is the one really annoying feature (or requirement?) of jQuery UI's CSS framework and not in use in jQuery Mobile anymore. Should be left as is, unless he can point out specific issues that are still relevant today.

The article actually just encourages using a percentage for the body and
then percentages or ems for everything else. While he mentions the 62.5%
style, that's not the point of the article.
