Links for (sub)chapters missing in the sidebar

For example:

• http://learn.jquery.com/about-jquery/how-jquery-works/
• http://learn.jquery.com/about-jquery/additional-support/

.. are not listed in the sidebar (not when on the page itself, not when on other pages).

Whereas two:

• http://learn.jquery.com/using-jquery-core/faq/
• http://learn.jquery.com/code-organization/deferreds/

.. are both in the sidebar.

Considering the high number of subpages http://learn.jquery.com/using-jquery-core/ has, putting them all in the sidebar all the time is probably too much. But I think it is a reasonable expectation from usability point of view that at least the current page is always highlighted in the subpage (not just its parent).

Only items with more items inside of them are shown in the sidebar. I think we should have a breadcrumb to deal with the problem of "where am i?" At that point we could evaluate whether it makes sense to continue to show any subchapters in the sidebar at all.

"Only items with more items inside of them are shown in the sidebar." seems an odd interface feature to understand intuitively, but at least it is automatable (which I guess it is right now).

As opposed to it being manually maintained. Good enough for me.
