I tried to run the code under the comment "Using an object literal for a jQuery feature" and the javascript console has showed the error message below:

"SyntaxError: missing ; before statement
var myFeature.currentItem = $( this );"

I removed the "var" statement to fix it.

Indeed var should not be there. Can you submit a Pull Request for that?
