Figure out what to do about "Tutorials"

There is a hand-curated list of tutorials right now at http://docs.jquery.com/Tutorials

Should we continue to have and in turn curate this list? Should it be its own top level directory? Not sure where else to put it right now? Thoughts, @addyosmani, @kswedberg?

I have a strong opinion about the Tutorials section (which some might completely disagree with) - to be honest, I think we should ditch it.

There have been countless times over the past two years that we've had to go back and edit the list because:

• Content has gone out of date and the advice it contains is no longer useful
• The content wasn't properly reviewed when added and contains anti-practices
• The site redirects, 404's or the domain is no longer around
• We've had to deal with the politics of linking to one site's article about a topic vs not another's

In short, it's a headache we can avoid. I think our time would be much better spent attempting to improve what's going into the Learning site itself.

+1 "Ditch" was my instinct here too. Though we should probably keep the list somewhere for posterity.

+1 Discovered way too many outdated tuts and bad practices through that list.

You could always just put the old list in a gist.

hehe. I think we should hold off, though, until the new site is up. Even if there's a lot of crap on it, the amount of time spent on explaining why we killed it would be too distracting. Remember the plugins site...

We are just going to ditch it at the right time, nothing to do on a learn perspective though
