Hmm... okay, so I'm going to close this PR. I've done some investigating into the failing builds on Windows. I've narrowed it down to the compression mechanism in version 2 being OS-dependent, which means that Windows won't be able to work with a cache created on Ubuntu. As far as I can see, there is no straight-forward work-around for this, other than creating separate caches for Ubuntu+Mac and Windows. Might be worth it to add a comment to that effect into the workflow to save a next person trying to upgrade the action some time ;-) |
