Appreciate the ping, sorry for the delay. We don't really accept updates to the JS libs in PRs as per https://github.com/rails/jquery-rails/blob/master/CONTRIBUTING.md#updating-jquery, I went ahead and pushed the update and a new version 4.5.0 with it.
