Scrolling with mousewheel fails in IE 8

In IE8 you cannot scroll with the mousewheel. I'm not quite sure if you can fix it, but jScrollPane is able to scroll with the mousewheel in IE8.

at the slim scroll js file (not the minified), chage line 277 to:
var target = e.target || e.srcTarget || $("." + e.srcElement.className);

it works for me ;)

Line 277 is a comment, I think you mean 298. But shouldn't this be in the core?

yep. same here. Cannot scroll. Only when i select text first in the scrolling element
