Tailwind CSS IntelliSense for VSCode doesn't work when path contains '#'

My project folder is situated under a full file path similar to the following scheme:
D:\#Root Folder\...\project-folder\
Tailwind CSS IntelliSense is not available within the VSCode project.
VSCode output for Tailwind CSS IntelliSense produces the following error:
[Error - 20:52:31] Tailwind CSS: Can't resolve 'postcss' in 'd:\

Moving the project folder to a path that does not contain a '#' resolves the issue.
