After running the npx @tailwindcss/upgrade command, I can't perform any further actions.

Flow:

Need to install the following packages:
@tailwindcss/upgrade@4.2.1
Ok to proceed? (y) y
-> It gets stuck at this stage

Hey! Can you share a reproduction repo so we can have a look at what's going on?

It should give you some output almost immediately. When you say that it gets stuck, how long did you let it run before you quit the process?

If it’s hanging right after npx installs @tailwindcss/upgrade, it might be useful to check where the process is getting stuck.

~A couple things that could help narrow it down:
Run with:
-npx @tailwindcss/upgrade --verbose
-Try the same command on Node 20 (LTS) to rule out Node 24 compatibility.
-See if it reproduces in a fresh Next.js project.

Without a minimal repro or logs, it’s going to be hard to tell whether this is a CLI issue or something environment-specific.
