Bootstrap 3 display issue (input-group-addon)

Hi,

Small display issue I don't know if anyone can help with?

I have a date text field with an image using the input-group-addon class as below for using with a date picker: [http://getbootstrap.com/components/#input-groups]

Unfortunately when I run the validation the error message seems to break the formatting from this:

to this:

All of the other field types seem to be fine, just when including an image or text in the form of an input-group-addon class.

This is how I fixed it - Your .input-group has to be wrapped inside a .form-group

$.validate({
    onError : function(){
        $('.input-group.has-error').find('.help-block.form-error').each(function() {
            $(this).closest('.form-group').append($(this));
        });
    }
});

Thanks mikehins! I had to make a minor adjustment to make my help text red in Bootstrap 3:

$(this).closest('.form-group').append($(this));

to...

$(this).closest('.form-group').addClass('has-error').append($(this));

Without the change my help text would appear correctly, but only in light gray. This is because .help-block has to be a child of .has-error in Bootstrap 3.
