CSS Counter Styles defines "formal" and "informal" variants of the number systems. But really, these are "normal" and "anti-forgery" modes, where "normal" is almost always used, even in formal contexts. (Anti-forgery because it's so easy to add another line or two to make 一 look like 二 or 三, or turn 十 into 千 or vice versa by erasing lines.)
Would it make sense to alias the "normal" styles to drop the "informal" bit?
