    NS7 issue?

    Hello.
I designed graphics for a new site and melt them together within a table. It
looks fine in IE6, NS4 and Opera7, but NS7 displays it wrong. I checked the
code, but can't find a mistake. Please have a look at
http://www.dasfragezeichen.de/test/index.html . Right beside the paper there
has to be displayed a gray area. I do it with a pic about 1x1 pixels and
stretches it up with the 'width' and 'height' values in the image tag.
Please don't tell me that I have to use div's. There are reasons for using
    the table.

    Thanks
    Roland

I haven't checked the page but with images inside of a table I guess you
    are experiencing

Thanks for your visit. I use NS7.02 . The page isn't ready and I created the
borders only for testing the layout.

Sorry, but this article doesn't belong to my problem. It doesn't help in
this case. The problem is, that there is a picture with 1x1 pixels. I need
only a coloured area, so I don't use a big pic (the filesize...). Inside the
image tag I stretch it to 400x700 pixels with the width and height values.
IE, Opera and NS4 render it right, but NS7 not. Couriosly the pic is
rendered correct in other table cells, where I do it similar...
I coded the page new with div's, but the result is the same. Any
          suggestions?

          Thanks
          Roland

            Re: NS7 issue?

            Okay,
I have it! It seems that NS7 can't expand (very) little images to much
bigger. Now I use a 30x30 pic, stretch it to 400x700 pix and all works fine
.... in Ns7, IE6 and Opera. NS4 lacks and displays another part of the page
very strange. But that's a minor problem wich I try to fix later.

            So long,
            Roland
