access 2 pages (frames) without Javascript?

    Hello,

I have a web site with 3 frames, top, left and right.

I am wondersing if it is possible to have a button in the top frame
page which when clicked opens one page in the left frame and a
different page in the right frame?

At the moment I have this working using Javascript but oen user is
getting runtime error message when clicking the button ...

    Cheers

    Geoff

Gee, if only there were some sort of document that answered
frequently asked questions like this one! Some document like, for
    instance,
The Web Design Group's Web Authoring FAQ addresses frequently asked questions related to HTML, images, style sheets, and other Web authoring issues.

You give 'name' [1] to your FRAMEs [2] then you use 'target' [3] of
the links [4] to designate [5] particular frame. Note that using
links with 'target' attribute is only part of the Transitional DTD
      <http://www.w3.org/TR/html401/sgml/loosedtd.html>.

        Stan,

thanks for the pointer - I have gone for one frameset replacing
        another ...
