I am having trouble with a new site. Pictures and text do not appear or
are taking time to load.<www.hes.i c24.net>

Could somebody advice me what I am doing wrong.

You're using bmp's. Don't, they're way too big for display
on a site. Use jpg's instead, and compress them a bit.

You must have noticed that the one picture on the home page
loads quickly? Well, that's a jpg.

You have a bunch of huge BMP files. Change them to JPEG.
