Moonwalks

A extravehicular activity (EVA) conducted on the Moon is often called a 'moonwalk'. Walking on the moon was one of mankind’s greatest technological feats and NASA’s biggest success story. A total of 12 astronauts have walked on the Moons surface, all during the Apollo Program of the late 1960s and early 1970s. During moonwalks, experiments were often set up and rocks and other materials from the Moon's surface collected.
