Stafford Civil War Park opens with help from Virginia Guard - April 27, 2013

Built on the site of a Union army headquarters camp from the winter of 1862-63, the park's construction was managed by the Friends of Stafford Civil War Sites with key support from the Virginia Army Guard’s 276th Engineer Battalion and the Virginia Air Guard’s 203rd Red Horse Engineer Squadron. The park officially opened to the public April 27, 2013.
