VNG Soldiers prepare for storm response support in Fredericksburg - Sept. 1, 2021

Virginia National Guard Soldiers assigned to the Fredericksburg-based 229th Brigade Engineer Battalion, 116th Infantry Brigade Combat Team prepare vehicles and equipment for possible response missions Sept. 1, 2021, at the Mason-Ruhren Readiness Center in Fredericksburg, Virginia. VNG Soldiers are staged in Fredericksburg and Winchester, Virginia, for possible flood response operations as Tropical Depression Ida passes through the region.
