Downloading Guides in Kinetic Help

You can download PDF guides directly from the Kinetic help in two ways, by downloading them from
the Getting Started page of a module or functional area or by downloading them from one of our Guide
Download pages.

Downloading Guides from a Getting Started Page

In many areas of online help, there is a Getting Started or Understanding article that describes a
feature, takes you through the process flow, and links to articles on setting up, using, and reporting on
the feature. There is also a link to download a PDF guide.

Here is an example of a Getting Started Page and a guide download link.

To download a PDF from the page:

1. Navigate to the Module > Getting Started > Getting Started page. This path is different for each
area of the system.
2. Select the Download the Guide link from the Getting Started article. The document will open in a
new browser tab or window, depending on your browser settings.
3. From the PDF preview page, either download the PDF or print it to a local or network printer.

Downloading Guides from a Guide Download Page

In Kinetic help, we also have download articles where you can download different technical reference
and / or user guides. The most common download page is the Kinetic Guides Download page.

You can access this directly from the Kinetic Help & Support panel.

1. Launch the Help & Support panel from anywhere in Kinetic .

2. Enter Guides Download in the search field.
3. Select the Kinetic Guides Download article search result to launch the help article.

You can also the Kinetic Guides Download page within the help by navigating to the
General > Guides Download section and selecting the Kinetic Guides Download article.

 Downloading Guides from Kinetic Help

The Kinetic Guides Download article will open in a new tab or browser window, depending on your
browser settings. The Kinetic Guides Download article includes all technical reference and user guides
currently available in Kinetic . There is a table with each available guide and a download icon you can
select to download the guide.

To download or print a guide:

1. Scroll down the article to locate the guide. You can also press CTRL + F on your keyboard and
search for the guide.
2. Select the Download icon beside the guide in the table. The document will open in a new
browser tab or window, depending on your browser settings.

3. From the PDF preview page, either download the PDF or print it to a local or network printer.

Accessing Kinetic Help from EpicWeb

You can access Kinetic help directly from EpicWeb and then navigate to the General > Guides
Download > Kinetic Guides Download article.

1. Log into EpicWeb.

2. From the EpicWeb home page, navigate to Products > Kinetic/ERP > Documentation and select
either Cloud or On-premises.

3. Select the current version online help link from the Documentation page.
