This document provides a checklist of pre-deployment procedures to undertake including: 1) configuring user folders, access levels, and security settings based on network operating system features and policies; 2) performing security checks of firewalls, antivirus software, and user folder creation; 3) checking normal server functions and installing/updating required modules; 4) confirming network services are configured based on user and system requirements; 5) checking operation of network services; and 6) responding to unplanned events or conditions according to established procedures. The trainee must complete these procedures and submit a written report to the trainer.
