116th MET prepare for deployment at Fort Hood - April 2016
Members of the 116th Military Engagement Team train at Fort Hood, Texas, during their mobilization training. Since their arrival in mid-March, the team has conducted training on topics including personnel recovery, culture, language and international negotiations. The 116th MET previously completed three weeks of training at Fort Pickett, Virginia, and is completing additional training requirements at Fort Hood. During their federal mobilization, the 116th MET will conduct military-to-military engagements with partners in U.S. Army Central Command’s area of responsibility including Kuwait, Jordan, Oman and Tajikistan.
