QUALITY STANDARD, FAULT IDENTIFICATION, AND REPORTING

What is a Quality Standard?

Quality standard is characterized through a report that gives prerequisites,
determinations, rules, or qualities that can be utilized reliably to guarantee that materials,
items, procedures, and administrations are fit for their motivation.
Quality and standards are very important when choosing a material or buying important
things, especially if you want to ensure the durability and lifetime of an item. The checker is
responsible for performing the quality checking. He needs to record and report the received
materials for assurance.

FAULT IDENTIFICATION AND REPORTING

It is not easy to buy new materials in an individual company if the criteria are used for
a lifetime. Even if you have purchased it already, you still must make sure that it is the same
specifications required in good condition.
For Receiving Materials:
1. Match the packing slip to the items received and ensure that the materials are
destined for the tour department.
2. That you are receiving the materials indicating the purchase order concerning
quantity and discount.
3. That the materials are in acceptable condition.
4. That term regarding the installation and set-up of equipment are met.
For Receiving Reports
Whenever goods are received:
1. The person receiving the goods must document using the administrative software,
that all goods were received for each requisition before any payment can be made
to the vendor.

1 GSC-CID-LRMS-ESSLM, v.r. 03.00, Effective June 9,

2021
2. Any exceptions must be noted so that partial payment can be processed, or
defective goods can be returned or replaced.
For Returning of Merchandise
1. When merchandise is received, which is incomplete or defective, the supervisor will
return the materials to the supplier or to the store where it was bought and decide with
the vendor for a replacement.
For Making an inventory report of the materials
1. All materials received must be listed and be reported to monitor how many materials
are already on hand, purchased, or damaged.
2. Effective management checks are an essential means of assuring the integrity and
security of beneficial processes.

The Quality checker is the person who will record the date of receipt, name of the
materials purchased, quantity, and official receipt number, the signature of the person who
bought the materials, and signed his name afterward. The Quality checker will identify if the
materials are in good condition or damaged or needing replacements. This will also be
recorded in his report.
