Write the LC Code for each.

D. Learning At the end of the lesson, students will be able to:

Objectives 1. Identify the difference between wireless router, wireless access point,
and wireless repeater.
2. Changed WiFi network name and security key/password of a router.

Content is what the lesson all about. It pertains to the subject matter the teacher aims to teach in the CG, the content can be tackled in a week or two.
II. CONTENT/TOPIC Wireless Router Configuration
III. LEARNING List the materials to be used in different days. Varied sources of materials sustain children’s interest in the lesson and learning. Ensure that there is a mix of concrete
RESOURCES and manipulative materials as well as paper-based materials. Hands-on learning promotes concept development.

What are the benefits of a Wireless Network?
1. Flexibility. With no wires you can easily access your network resources
from any location.
2. Cost. It reduces the cost of installation and labor.
3. Security. The wireless network uses a wireless router which has security
features to encrypt your network traffic.

How to Configure a Wireless Router?

Changing Network name and Security key.
1. Plug in AC Adapter and press the power button.
2. Connect one end of networking cable to the Ethernet port of the router
and connect the other end to the LAN adapter of a PC or Laptop.
3. Access the router configuration panel through a web browser and on the
URL tab type the IP address 192.168.110.1 (Note: This IP address is
intended for ruijie routers).
4. You will be directed to its main configuration menu. Just click configure.
5. The router then will check if you are connected to the internet. If not, you
can continue the configuration by clicking “perform configuration without
cable”.
6. The router will now prompt that you are not connected to a network. Just
click NEXT to proceed.
7. Click OK to continue.
8. Change the default Wireless Network name to your Group # Ex. Group
