WHAT IS OHS POLICIES?
• OHS policies define the goals for occupational health and the safety
work in the workplace and for activities that promote the working
capacity of the staff. Policies are also describes occupational health and
safety responsibilities and  the way organizing the cooperation measures.
WHAT WE WILL DO?

• Wear appropriate equipments for example:

• Anti-static wrist strap- is an static device used to safely ground a


person working on a very sensitive electronic equipment to prevent
the buildup of  static electricity on their body.
• Safety glasses provide eye protection for general working conditions
where there may be dust, chips or flying particles. Additional side
protection can be provided by the use of side shields and
wraparound-style safety glasses. Safety lenses are available in glass,
plastic, and, polycarbonate materials.
• Follow the instructions and guidelines for our safety and to the goodness of
our work.Make sure that you pc or your computer is fully turned off or fully shutdown.
• Take of any metal objects in your arms or on your fingers such as rings, bracelets etc.
• Make sure that your hand is dryto avoid damaging any parts as well as to avoid
electocution.
• Handle every parts of the computer hardware with care.
• Be careful in holding the motherboard, it's underside actually quite pointy and able to
hurt you.
• Be careful not to drop any small parts (particularly screws) into unreachable areas like
computer fan or disk drive.
• Take note that the three of the most damaging things to a computer
are moisture (sweat, drinking water), shock (electric or from being dropped)
and dust (any debris from household dust to bits of food).
