components.
What’s New
In order to test some basic electronics components, one must use a multimeter
either analogue or digital.
Identify the parts of the analogue tester by choosing from the words inside the
box. Write your answers in your notebook.

3. Connect the test leads. Connect the black test lead to the
jack marked "Common" or "-". Then, connect the red test lead
to the jack marked with the Omega (Ohm symbol) or letter "R"
near it.
2. Insert your test probes. Insert the black probe in the "COM"
or "-" jack. Next, insert the red probe in the "V" or "+" jack.
